Painting
Painting is one of my two passions!
I always knew I loved to create art, but never knew *just* how much until I attended an art college. (Honestly didn't even know "art college" was a thing!!)
Diving into college to pursue a passion-hobby (yep, I made that up ;) lol) was one of the best decisions I've made. It was in college where I explored all that it meant to be an artist and what that looked like for me. I graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago (*not the Art Institute - very different lol!) in 2013 with a degree in
Fine Arts Specialized in Watercolor Painting (I know - SUPER specific!!).
Everyone says "there's no money in art" and to that I say, (first of all - wrong!) but more importantly, *there's no happiness without passion*!
I'm a firm believer in turning your passions into your day to day life and will encourage anyone struggling with their happiness to dig into what they're passionate about!
You might just surprise yourself! ;)
I spent four years dedicated to perfecting my skill (always a work in progress since we are our own worst critics!) and love opportunities to share that skill in commissioned pieces along with pieces I choose to paint for fun!

and effort put into these works of art. Most paintings you will see are either for sale or have prints available to be made and purchased.
